Balmain Inspired Illustrations! Part 2

Here's my last collection concept project of the previous term! Our theme was to bring out a collection using opposite inspirations such as 'good-bad, old and new etc.'  For this collection I picked the futuristic and historical inspiration. For the futuristic part, I was inspired by the futuristic architecture, and for the historical part I was inspired by the intriguing Tudors family from the 16th century.. And as my influence I selected my favorite brand Balmain!

Gucci made a real come back with the Spring 2011 RTW Collection.. The brand finally got back its popularity  after Tom Ford's quit.. The new collection is absolutely vivid and hot! 

So nowadays it's inevitable to see the new Guccis on the Hollywood celebrities!

Incredible Achraf Amiri Fashion Illustrations!

 

Dramatic, Dark, Glamorous, Cool, Fun, Creative, Quirky, Inspirational, Very Original.. I could use every nice word I know in English to describe the art of Belgian artist Achraf Amiri!!! I think I found my next muse!!! Reminds me very much of Tim Burton's style.. 

And he was born in 1988, Oh my god! He is younger than mee and so talentedd!! I want to cry! :)) No Just joking! I can only appreciate and congratulate his art and work! And of course the slogans he uses on his pieces are just incredible!

These are the sketches from the first project of our Collection Concept lesson.. Our lovely teacher Natia Nemsadze asked us to create a collection consists of two garment pieces and of only one color but luckily she left the insipiration to our own will.. I got inspired by the flowers because normally I am not very romantic kind of girl so I thought its the best thing that could make me use romantic details such as frills and gathers.. :))
